Gwadar Development Projects Proposed for PSDP 2026-27
More than ten development schemes for Gwadar have been recommended for inclusion in the federal and provincial Public Sector Development Programmes (PSDP) for the fiscal year 2026–27, according to an official from the Gwadar Development Authority (GDA).
The proposed projects include feasibility studies as well as construction work focused on improving drainage systems, sewerage networks, and road infrastructure across different areas of Gwadar city. The list also covers the upgradation of Pishukan and Surbandar jetties, initiatives for coastal tourism and beach development, creation of public parks and recreational spaces, residential accommodation for doctors at GDA Hospital, and the expansion of Gwadar Cricket Stadium.
The official further stated that these proposals were discussed and reviewed during a GDA meeting chaired by Director General Moin ur Rehman Khan. Following the review process, the projects will be submitted to the federal and provincial governments for formal approval.
